Our Mission

The Western New York Coalition for the Homeless is an association of service providers and concerned individuals who have joined together to empower and advocate for people in need of safe, affordable, and permanent housing and related services.

As decent, appropriate housing is a fundamental human right, the coalition works to ensure that all members of our community are guaranteed this by:

  • Assisting persons who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, to obtain essential services.

  • Working to improve the quality of services for homeless people.

  • Providing public education, service coordination, monitoring of existing programs, and development of new resources.

  • Working together to support and enhance the work done by individual members of the coalition and all organizations serving the homeless in Western New York.

    Meeting Place and Time:
St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral (City of Buffalo)
Church and Pearl Sts. (enter from Pearl St.)
Every second Wednesday of each month, at 9:30 AM.
